Pete Conrad

Pete Conrad began writing and filming short productions while in high school in the 1980’s. He is equally as comfortable behind the camera as he is writing or producing. From film he went on to form several popular rock bands where he furthered his experience by producing and managing their tours. By 2000 he got back into video as he became a technical and stage manager, learning first-hand each stage of the filming process. He’s also quite adept at complex special effects. Mr. Conrad has recently published four critically acclaimed books of fiction and has written a number of screenplays, short productions and reality television show concepts.

Michael Trachiotis earned a Master of Fine Arts from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Mr. Trachiotis has written, produced and directed a number of short productions, commercials and music videos for national bands such as The Sliverfish Band, co-produced the music video “One Time for Your Mind,” featuring Kutmasta Kurt, Gift of Gab and Motion Man and produced “That Swagg,” for EvenOdds. Most recently, he has completed the screenplay and graphic novel “Dante’s Inferno. 1906. San Francisco,” as well as “Chupacabra,” a blood sucking horror film set in the jungles of Mexico and “Hallucinations of Fear,” a film by extraterrestrials about
human beings.

Debbie has over twenty years of experience with all facets of motion picture and video production. From conception, script breakdown and budgets, through production, post and distribution, all formats of film and video to CD-Rom and Web casting, Debbie has done it all. Debbie most frequently uses the Movie Magic Software for any project, and is detail oriented with excellent skills as a coordinator, diplomat, instructor and consultant. Debbie can creatively plan in great detail, any production big or small, local or abroad, quickly and efficiently and with humor and can save our buns because we need to do it on time and under budget. Just remember Debbie’s Ten “P’s” - Perfect Pre-Production Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance in Post Production!

Jim Carter, Associate Producer, comes to SFP with a number of years of marketing and research experience. Currently, Mr. Carter has applied his skills as a film media creative consultant and co-writer to help independent filmmakers improve their scripts and gives them guidance on making their projects polished, most recently “Catharsis.” Most notably, Jim is principle for the website, The Movie Whore (themoviewhore.com) where he commentates on film and the film industry and frequently interviews independent filmmakers. Some of Jim's recent interviews include Effie T. Brown, Richard Janes, Lloyd Kaufman and Eric Red.
